How to Add Warmth with Candles

We are treating our homes somewhat like hotel, with the demanding lives of modern era. Most of us spend less than five working hours a day in our homes and have reverted our houses into ‘Cold' houses, where we store our stuff, do our laundry and sleep. Thus, we are lacking the warmth and personality.
We can however restore the warmth and personality in our houses, by spending some time in our houses and also by imparting ourselves to the surroundings. One of the simplest ways of increasing the warmth and personality to our homes is the use of candles and candle holders. This makes the home lively and allows us to spend more time in our homes.
To beautify our homes with the help of candles, we may get started with the bedroom that can be given a romantic or sanctuary look. A table can be furnished with a candelabrum on its top or with little tea lights on the dresser. Candles shaped as water lilies or other flowers, floating in a bowl of water, also provide a fantastic look.
Mostly, people go for a shower once or twice in a day, but soaking in a bath of hot water gives an awesome feeling. We can experience the feeling with tranquility by combining tall and short candles like pillar candles, votive candles and tea light candles, tiling around the room.
Candles can be utilized in the kitchen also for different reasons. Aromatic candles are capable of hiding the smell of cabbage and other foodstuffs. Night candles add glow to the rooms, allowing us to pop in and out for snacks or drinks at night, relieving us from switching the lights on and off for several times. A burning candle helps in the removal of cigarette smoke as well.

A wide range of candles can be used in the living room, increasing the charm of the room. Wall sconces can serve as an ideal way of burning candles in the hall and living room. In fact, candles do not even have to be lit to add to the living room. Aromatic candles are perfect to give the essence that we want. A candelabrum on a table, candlesticks on a fireplace or large tubular candles in the hearth, smaller vase or jar candles fits anywhere to create the ambiance we desire for.

The dining room or at least, the dining table can be turned to an indispensable place with the help of candles.
